Andrew Hagen is a human person on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, who has struggled to engage the full bandwidth of human emotion.

Luckily, music exists, and music is good, and music is also excellent at ambushing wayward passersby with emotions. So now Andrew is somewhat healthier emotionally, and music has helped with that.

His music can best be described as knockoff Avett Brothers, if only one of the brothers played music and was pretty sad about that but did his best anyway.

Andrew never really wrote songs he liked until his daughter was born. Either he got better at it or he just lowered his standards — but you can be the judge of that.

Human, Again is the first of four short records coming over the next year.
